Sambrama is a Social and Cultural Organization.

Sambrama was founded in 24th July 2000, During the last 17 years, We trained Folk Art Forms through “Guru Shishya Parampara” 3,850 people’s in all over Karnataka. It has grown into a significant cultural environment programs in Karnataka.

The main aim of Preserving, Rejuvenating and Promoting the rich folk culture of Karnataka. Rural cultural life is deeply rooted in Folk literature, language music, dance, drama, festivals, paintings, arts, beliefs and traditions. The basic purpose of sambrama is to introduce the Karnataka rural games and Folk Art forms and the entire rural cultural wealth.

Sambrama Folk World this place is wonderful gift to the artist and lovers of culture and lovers of folk art forms.

Artists who ever interested to learn we are conducting training Programs in Folk Art Forms like, Dollukunita, PoojaKunita, Chittimela, Goravarakunita, Kolata, JanapadaGayana, Kamsale, etc. Workshops, Seminars  And Folk Cultural Programs and is instrumental in bringing the Forgotten Folk Art Forms and artists to the cultural mainstream and getting the Recognition.

The Principal Objective is the conservation, preservation and dissemination of the Folk culture of the state by Implementation of multidimensional cultural activities and programs.

Providing  social security to the artist in various fields living in indigent conditions.

Compiling, Preservation, Improvisation, and Promotion of all types of Janapada literature like Folk idioms, songs, proverbs, stories, Dramas, Bayalata events which are alive to date in the rural culture and community.

Audio recording of different captivating tunes of Folk music and establish library of the audio discs and books. To Produce audio disc to Popularize Folk music.

To hold event of Folk art at different places to introduce the beauty and elegance of folk art. Provide opportunities to Folk artists and troupes to participate in national and international exchange programs. To encourage artists to create music and dance ballets based on folk literature for community education and entertainment.

To hold seminars on folk meals, folk games and folk costumes competitions etc.

Training the Folk artists in folk art forms like dollukunita, pujakunita, veeragase, kolatakamsale, chittimelaetc to enable them to perform in corporate events, government events, promotions of companies. These ways of Providing opportunities.

Opening Folk art school and summer camp classes to teach Janapada art Forms.
